Have you been thinking about doing stand-up comedy but are intimidated by the idea of hanging out with a bunch of comics you don’t know? Or maybe you have been performing comedy and you would like to take your craft to the next level? Either way, coaching can help you develop your comedy into the hobby or career you’ve always wanted.
In addition to performing and teaching stand-up for five years, I have completed 77 hours of life coach training and graduated from the Core Essential program at Coach U, the leading global provider of coach training programs.
One-on-one coaching is a great way to hone in on whatever areas you want and need to focus on. If you are newer to comedy I recommend focusing on writing and performing to ensure you have a great 5 minute set, are comfortable on stage, and know how to get booked for shows.
If you have been in the game for a minute, perhaps it's time to focus on taking your act to the next level. Covering things like getting into the college circuit, obtaining representation, and tracking business expenses are critical if you want to turn your comedy hobby into a comedy career.
A la carte sessions and custom coaching packages available to meet individual needs. Shoot me an email to schedule a one-on-one session.
If a group environment is more your scene, I also teach stand-up 101 and 201 at the Sacramento Comedy Spot.
